EDFI AgriFI targets three types of investees to contribute to the financial inclusion and improved livelihoods for smallholder farmers. The facility either invests through impact funds – enabling it to reach out lower-maturity investees, via financial institutions such as microfinance institutions – or directly in SMEs and producer organisations.
